Braywick Leisure Centre is situated in the heart of the town’s largest public open space, a 40-hectare parkland that serves as a key outdoor sports hub. What sets this design apart is its seamless relationship with the surrounding landscape. From the outset, the goal was to create a route through the building that connects with the existing network of paths and activities, reinforcing its role as a community hub where families can enjoy diverse experiences together.
Inside, while practical, the finishes were inspired by the parkland setting, with natural wood and stone elements complemented by hints of greenery, creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
