BRL was appointed to design a contemporary apartment development on the site of a former public house known as The Star. Despite being faced with several challenging physical site constraints, BRL has developed an innovative layout that seeks to overcome all of these challenges.
The proposed development consists of 14 apartments with undercroft parking and a commercial space at ground floor level. All apartments have been carefully planned to comply with the space standards outlined in the London Plan.
Most apartments feature private balconies, providing outdoor space for residents. For those without private amenity space, communal roof terraces and private gardens have been proposed, ensuring all residents benefit from high-quality outdoor areas. A planning application is currently being considered by the local authority.
